Comments: I'm currently single, twice
married, no children. I teach creative writing and journalism at VC and
Brooks Institute of Photography. I wrote a book which took me to the "Today" show
and the like, wrote a kids book that sold 40,000 copies, had a small
NEA funded publishing venture, was associate editor at Capra and editor
in chief at Brown's. I've pubslished about 1,000 book reviews in LA Times,
SB Magazine and SB News Press and had a travel column for five years;
I currently publish about 50,000 words a year in reviews along with some
travel pieces and essays. I was literary expert witness against the Ian
Fleming Estate and script advisor on the last Connery James Bond film.
Traveling is a primary pleasure, and I go abroad twice a year, often
to France, but this summer I drove Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and
then spent a week in St. Petersburg. When my ship comes in, I hope to
have a second home in France.
My life pleases me, but I could use more hours in each day.
