Our 45th reunion fast approaches. The date is Saturday, September 25, 2010. The place is Camp Comfort in Ojai. We had a good turnout for our 40th in 2005. We hope to see even better for the 45th.

We are looking for "sponsors" to cover the main expenses—Camp Comfort rental fee, badges, decorations, mailings, etc.—so that we can limit the cost of attendance to a $15 fee per person for food and drinks. Our goal is to collect $1,600–$1,800. So far we have 11 sponsors who have contributed a total of $1,550. We need $50–$250 more to meet our goal. Coordination with Buena. Many of us have friends from both Buena and Ventura High Schools, so we have worked with the Buena 45th reunion team to hold both reunions on the same weekend. This will allow us to have a get-together Friday night (Sep 24, 5–9pm) at Antonio's Cantina in Ojai, where classmates from both schools can meet and share friendships and memories.
